FREE STORE AUDIT
Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or Magento — paste your store below and I'll go through it myself. Speed, conversion, SEO, trust. You get a short, prioritized list of what's actually costing you sales. No bots, no 40-page generic PDF.
WHATEVER YOU BUILT IT ON
The review is done from your public storefront, so the platform doesn’t limit what I can check — but each one fails in its own way, and I know where to look.
Shopify
Theme and app bloat is the usual culprit — a dozen apps each injecting scripts into every page. I check what's actually loading at checkout and what can go.
WooCommerce
Hosting and plugin weight dominate. I look at server response time, plugin overlap, and whether your cart is doing uncached database work on every request.
BigCommerce
Usually solid out of the box, so the wins are in template structure, faceted-search indexability and product data quality.
Wix
Fast to launch, easy to outgrow. I check render-blocking behaviour, mobile layout and whether your product pages are structured for search at all.
Squarespace
Beautiful templates that often carry heavy imagery. I check image weight, mobile checkout flow and the trust signals a design-led store tends to skip.
Magento / Adobe Commerce
Powerful and heavy. I look at front-end payload, cache configuration and the catalogue pages where large stores quietly lose search visibility.
Custom / headless
Next.js, Hydrogen, or something bespoke — I read the storefront the way a browser and a crawler each would, and flag where they disagree.
THIS IS WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET
A complete sample report — 34 findings, each located precisely, scored on revenue impact against effort, and explained in terms of what it costs you. Read it here, or take it away.
Client audits are confidential and are never published. This sample uses an invented brand with composite findings.
Send your store
Just the URL and an email. No call, no signup, no card.
I review it by hand
I open your store, test it on mobile and desktop, and dig through what's underneath.
You get the list
A short email with the highest-impact fixes, ordered by what I'd do first — yours to keep.
What I look at
A real review, not a scanner
Automated tools hand you 80 warnings and no priorities. I go through your store the way a customer would, then tell you the few things worth fixing first.
Speed & Core Web Vitals
Real load times on mobile, what's blocking the first paint, and the handful of fixes that move the number.
Conversion & checkout
I go through your funnel as a customer would — product page, cart, then checkout up to the payment step — and flag the friction that costs you orders.
Mobile experience
Roughly 70% of e-commerce orders happen on a phone. I check yours on a real one, not a desktop window.
SEO & discoverability
Titles, structure, indexability and product data — including whether AI search can read your catalog.
Trust & credibility
The signals that decide whether a first-time visitor believes you enough to enter card details.
Apps & script weight
Which third-party app or plugin scripts load on every page — Shopify apps, WordPress plugins, tag managers — where they overlap or duplicate, and what they cost you in load time.
All of this is done from your public storefront — no logins, no collaborator access, nothing for you to set up. If something needs a look behind the scenes, I'll tell you rather than guess.
The deliverable
What lands in your inbox
No dashboard to log into and no 40-page export. A short email, worst-first, in plain language — with the reasoning, so you can hand it to any developer and they'll know exactly what to do.
- 01Fix firstApps & speed
Three apps each load their own copy of the same library on every page.
Roughly 400 KB of duplicate JavaScript before anything renders — and two of the three apps aren't used outside the product page.
- 02Fix firstCheckout
Shipping cost first appears at the final checkout step.
Unexpected shipping cost is consistently among the top reasons carts get abandoned. Surfacing it on the cart page costs nothing and removes the surprise.
- 03Worth doingMobile
The product gallery swallows vertical swipes on iOS.
Customers trying to scroll past the image get stuck flipping through photos instead. Most never scroll to the add-to-cart button.
- 04Quick winTrust
No returns policy reachable from the product page.
First-time buyers look for it before entering card details. It already exists on your site — it just isn't linked where the decision happens.
An example of the format, not a real store's report. Yours will name the specific pages, apps and numbers found on your storefront.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. I audit a limited number of stores each week because I do them personally. If the fixes are things you can handle yourself, brilliant — take the list and run with it. If you'd rather I implement them, we can talk about that separately. Either way the audit is yours, free.

Before you send it over
Do you need access to my store?+
No. Everything is done from your public storefront — the same thing your customers see. No logins, no collaborator request, nothing to set up. If a finding genuinely needs a look at the admin, I'll say so in the report rather than guess at it.
Is this a sales pitch in disguise?+
The audit stands on its own — the list is yours whether or not we ever speak again. I'm a developer, not an agency with a sales team, so there's no follow-up sequence waiting for you. If you want help implementing the fixes, reply and ask. If you don't, nothing happens.
What if my store isn't on Shopify?+
Send it anyway. Most of what I check — speed, mobile, checkout friction, trust, SEO — isn't platform-specific. If your setup is far enough outside what I work with that I can't be genuinely useful, I'll tell you that instead of sending a shallow report.
How long does it take?+
Usually within 48 hours on working days — so something sent on Friday evening lands Tuesday rather than over the weekend. If I'm backed up, the queue count under the form is live: it's the real number of stores ahead of yours, not a marketing figure.
What happens to my email address?+
It's used to send your audit. You're not added to a newsletter and nothing is passed to anyone else. Ask me to delete your details afterwards and I will.
Why is it free?+
Because it's how I'd rather introduce myself than by pitching. A few hours reviewing a store tells you more about whether I'm worth hiring than any portfolio page can — and if the answer is no, you still keep a useful list.
